John is a founding member of Niesen | Price | Worthy | Campo, P.A. For over 20 years, John has practiced almost exclusively to the area of construction law and litigation.

John is licensed to practice law in the state courts, as well as the Middle and Northern District Federal Courts of Florida.  He became Florida Bar Board Certified in Construction Law in 2009.

Prior to practicing construction law, John served 12 years in the U.S. Navy, where he garnered a variety of medals and accolades for his distinguished, wartime service. John’s attention to detail and dedication to duty carried over from his many years of honorable service, and are reflected on a daily basis by providing unparalleled dedication to his legal work and clients.

As a Board Certified “expert” in Construction Law and a member of the Florida Bar’s Construction Law Committee, John devotes his practice to construction development and construction litigation matters throughout Florida and the Southeast. John represents owners, contractors, design professionals, subcontractors, sureties and owner associations in complex, multi-party transactions, litigation and arbitration. He has mediated, litigated and arbitrated various construction related matters, including construction defect claims, breach of contract claims, differing site conditions claims, delay claims and design defect claims, as well as construction lien and private, state and federal payment and performance bond claims. Through his twenty-plus year legal career, John has represented clients in cases involving payment, defect and other contract claims worth millions of dollars, and recently successfully recovered nearly $55,000,000 for his client in a case with over 75 different parties.

John is also certified by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation, Construction Industry Licensing Board as an instructor for continuing education to those licensed in the construction industry.  In that capacity, he has taught contracting, lien law, bond law, licensing and delay claims, to thousands of attendees throughout Florida over the last 17 years.
